New Welfare & Benefits Case Worker Appointed
Starting from 1 September 2009, we'll be offering dedicated benefits appointments and specialist drop-in services. There'll be appointments on Tuesdays in Kidderminster and Thursdays in Stourport. Additionally, the drop-in advice service at Stourport on Wednesdays will be expanded to offer benefits advice as well as the current debt advice. There'll also be home visits available, although this service is limited.
We've been able to do this because of the funding received from Worcestershire County Council who've responded to the recession by looking at areas where there has been the greatest impact and provided the additional funding to help alleviate the effects and provide help to people who have been affected.
