Meet the People - Part 3

My name is Rob Pritchard, I have been Vice Chair for a few years now having joined the Board just as we entered tricky waters with reductions in Council funding and the ending of the LSC contract.

Probably my 35 years with Wyre Forest District Council’s Housing Department ( and Wyre Forest Community Housing from 2000) have been useful as I’ve had considerable experience in the “booms and bust” of local government finance’s!

As Head of Housing I dealt with Estate Management, Housing Needs and Homelessness, Housing Benefit Liaison and Anti-Social Behavior so quite a few of the issues that you deal with day to day are the same ones I grappled with down the years.

This and the fact that I was born in Kidderminster and have lived here for all but 5 of my 60 years are behind my commitment to Wyre Forest CAB – so I hope to be around for a good few years.
