Our Services

The District Council makes a contribution to our core costs to enable us to deliver the service free of charge.
We provide specialist help on debt and benefits to those facing homelessness. Advice can be accessed via the Kidderminster Hub or via the Kidderminster Office.

We provide specialist Money Advice to Wyre Forest Community Housing tenants facing rent arrears to help them to sort out any problems with rent and benefits. Advice can be accessed via the landlord or directly at the Kidderminster Office.

 

We provide support and advice to all people who are affected by cancer. Much of the works is advising on financial and benefits matters for people whose circumstances may have changed as a result of the diagnosis. The Worcestershire service can be accessed by the Kidderminster Office or by calling 01905 725946.

Big lottery Awards For All has given us a grant for one year to help with benefits advice. This includes helping with benefit applications and appeals as well as advice on what benefits you may be entitled to. We also look at  “better off” calculations if you are thinking about going back to work or taking on more or less hours. Advice can be accessed by the Kidderminster Office.

 

 

 
 
 
 
 

The County Council makes a contribution to our core costs to enable us to deliver the service free of charge. Part of the current contract is to provide the Worcestershire Adviceline county wide telephone service.

 

 

The Money Advice Service funds two part time caseworkers who offer free debt advice. They can also advise on debt management plans and insolvency procedures. Access to the service is via the Kidderminster Office.

 

 

A caseworker is part of the family support unit at the hospice and it is their role to provide practical and financial support for patients with life limiting illnesses, their families and the bereaved. Home visits and telephone consultations can be arranged as well as assistance at the day centre.
 

The Henry Smith Charity has generously given us a grant for three years to provide a Welfare Benefits Caseworker to provide help and information on benefits to vulnerable and disabled people as well as support to volunteers and disability groups.
